It seems like just yesterday, that a small group of us gathered at the home of our Pastor and First Lady, Dr. William E. & Mother Elmyrie B. Peterson.  And, after much prayer and reflection, took a leap of faith to establish Deliverance Free Will Baptist Church!  Over 30 years later, we are still here!  To God be the Glory!

Over the years, we have faced many challenges, but like the song says, “All of my good days, outweigh my bad days, I won’t complain!”  God has been good to Deliverance!  We hear the passion in the testimonies of our members, about how much God has blessed them through this Ministry, and we thank God for the great things He has done and continues to do for and through each one of them!  From the very beginning, we have been, and will always be, a FAMILY!

One of the things that stands out about this Ministry is our commitment to service.  Yes, we are blessed, but it is not for self-gain, nor is our service in vain.  We are blessed to BE a blessing, and our God receives all the Glory!!  We serve God through our service to others.

We thank God for our faithful Pastor and First Lady, for their tireless and unwavering support.  And to the members of Deliverance, your Pastor loves you!  I am so grateful for your prayers, for your support and for your continued commitment to this Ministry as we serve the Lord, and grow together in grace and knowledge through Jesus Christ!

It’s been an amazing journey so far, but the BEST is yet to come, so get ready!
